Yes. The Ape Pentaro really did exist. With a semi-trailer. I only discovered it quite late on myself. Now an absolute rarity, it used to be the
ideal ‘articulated lorry’ for the narrow streets of Italian towns. Unlike the Pentaro, the anchovy barrels are still
in use today, just as they always have been.
The print run is limited to 50 copies per format.
The original illustration on which the print is based was created by hand in graphite and watercolour.
