Built in 1904, the Woltman steam tug is the last seagoing tug with
Steam powered and a coal fired boiler in Germany.
It is a typical working ship of its time and its main areas of application were the
Lower Elbe and the Elbe estuary. Today it is in the museum harbor in Övelgönne
Anchor. The "Förderverein Tow Steamer WOLTMAN e.V." offers many activities
around the ship to make it accessible to an interested public.
The original illustration on which the print is based was created by hand in graphite / watercolor.
