Leek
From 26 May 2025 up to and including 10 June 2025 there will be no shipping of art prints due to a holiday break. Please note this if you place an order with UMBRAMARIN during this period.
Leeks were already being cultivated in 2100 BC. Cultivated in Mesopotamia. Even with the ancient Egyptians
had its place on the menu. The leek probably found its way from Italy in the Middle Ages to Central Europe.
The original illustration on which the print is based was created by hand in graphite / watercolor.
