Fat bean

Early forms of the "fat bean" were not very fat. These smaller seeds were first
found in archaeological excavations at a Stone Age settlement near Nazareth in Israel
between 6800 BC and 6500 B.C. BC, possibly also around 6000 BC. is dated. It is unclear,
whether those seeds are collected wild seeds or cultivated beans. Since
The broad bean can be found in many excavations in the Mediterranean region from the 3rd millennium BC.
The original illustration on which the print is based was created by hand in graphite / watercolor.
