2500 BC The ancient Egyptians were already cultivating radishes. Until the middle of the 20th century
it was a very popular vegetable in Europe and North America, but then gradually disappeared.
It has been making a comeback since around 2010.
The original illustration on which the print is based was created by hand in graphite / watercolor.
